    My trip to New York

Yesterday I told you guys about my trip to LA so now as promised: my trip to New York. Where I stayed In New York, we stayed at Hotel Edison. Opposite of the hotel we stayed at in LA this actually a really lovely hotel and it was so nice to get a good night of sleep after many sleepless nights from the other hotel. It wasn’t a luxury hotel but for the price, I think that it was pretty amazing. I honestly couldn’t complain about anything. The bed was really great, the bathroom was big and bright and we had a cozy little living room with a small fridge.    Where…

    My trip to Los Angeles

If you have been following my blog and my Instagram account for the last couple of weeks you know that I have been in the US (first LA and then New York). Now that I am home I thought that I would share the details about my trip with you. This will be a two-part series where I in this part will talk about LA and in the other part New York. The trip was a gift from me and my family to my sister that she got when she had her confirmation. She was the one that had to decide where she wanted to go for our summer vacation…

    What to wear while traveling

I will say that I have had my fair share of trips to airports lately. First I had to travel for 12 hours to LA with a layover in Amsterdam. Then I traveled to New York and now I have to get back to Denmark. Again with a layover in Paris. I think that I have spent more time on transportation the last two weeks than I have used this past year. I have never been a big fan of flying but I know that it is necessary if I want to explore the world. But now that I have had to travel so much I have done my best to be as…

Hey Guys, long time no see. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I am in LA at the moment which is the reason that I haven’t been that active on the blog lately (the internet on my hotel is THE WORST). Anyways before going to LA I made a list of Los Angeles based fashion brands that I had to check out when I arrived and I must say that I certainly didn’t get disappointed. Here are my 4 favorite Los Angeles based brands that you have to check out if you are in LA:   Reformation This brand is my absolute favorite one of all of…

What to wear for 4th of July

I will admit that the whole 4th of July thing is kind of new for me since I live in Europe. It was actually only last year that I had heard about it for the first time and then I didn’t really look more into it. But since I will be staying in LA on July 4th this year I decided to do some research. And of course, the thing that caught my attention was all the amazing 4th of July outfits. I mean blues, reds and lots of stripes. What more can I ask for? Since I got so inspired I decided to put together some of my favorite items…

    Summer essentials

Summer is here and that means that it is time for me to share some summer essentials. Summer is, without doubt, my favorite season. Both because of the weather but also because of all the cute clothes.   A cute summer hat A cute summer hat is a must for summer especially if you are going to the beach. The fact that they both protect our hair and face from the sun is great but they also look super cute.   The perfect swimsuit Summer = lots of trips to the beach and of course that means that you have to have the perfect swimsuit.   Your favorite sandals The…

    A not-so-basic way to wear a belt

One of the trends that I have been loving lately is the belt trend. I think that it is such a great detail to add to an outfit. However, I think that a basic jeans and belt outfit can get a little boring. Don’t get me wrong a casual outfit with a belt can be super chic but sometimes I just want to be a little more playful with my belt like in this outfit. I wore this blazer in an outfit earlier and you guys really seemed to like it so I decided to wear it for another outfit. This time I wore it with a black maxi skirt…

  • Layered necklaces

Layer your necklaces like a true fashionista

Learning how to master layered necklaces can be a bit tricky. You guys should know how much time I have used trying to make my layered necklaces look unique without making them look like a big mess. But I have learned along the way and I have found some combinations that work for me. One necklace trend that I have been loving recently is a nameplate necklace. It just makes the look so much more personal. The one that I am wearing in the pictures is this one that Onecklace have been so kind and send to me. I will admit that it isn’t my own signature but my sister…

    Into the woods

My teacher once told me a story about a Swedish doctor. He was known for his incredible abilities to cure stress. When he was asked what he did his answer was simple: he just asked his patients to go for a walk in the woods at least 3 times a week. After stressing about my exams I decided to test out his method and I must say that it worked. Already after doing it once, I could already feel that I was so much more relaxed. Isn’t it incredible how nature can affect us? For my outfit, I decided that a neutral outfit would be the best for the occasion. Both because…

    Fashion around the world

I don’t know about you guys but when I am on holiday I try to blend in with the locals. Not because I don’t want to look like a tourist but because I like to play around with different trends. I know that not all people in one country or city are wearing the same things. I have just used some of the trends that each city is known for and trends that I think of when I think about each city. Here is some inspiration if you are like me and wants to try out different trends while you are on holiday:   New York Going to the big apple?…
